I recommend booking your session at least FOUR months in advance to avoid the “SENIOR RUSH”, especially during the busy seasons.
Sessions take place on Saturday and Sunday evenings approximately two hours before the sun sets (Golden Hour). Also, temperatures are usually favorable around this time. Shoot times will vary depending on the season.
We can absolutely make this happen for you! We will work together to find a suitable indoor location/studio to suit your vision. But, because I am an on-location outdoor photographer, the rental fee and any other applicable fees for the space will be an extra out-of-pocket expense.
I recommend Peerspace as a good starting point to get some ideas.
Packages range from $250 to $575. Prints and products are an additional cost. Most families typically invest about $600-$1200 on both their senior portraits and products. LJP now offers graduation/open house cards and invitations. These can be purchased directly from your gallery.
We’ll collaborate to select the best outfits to reflect your style and personality. You’ll also receive a Style & Prep guide that will give you all the tea on how to look your best. Unlike some photographers, I do not go to the same location (s) for every senior session. We will collaborate to find the perfect location (s) that complement your outfits, personality, and style. I want your photos to look unique and stand out from the competition.
I service the following cities: Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, Belleville, Canton, Westland, Garden City, Plymouth/Livonia, Romulus, Novi, Farmington, Dearborn/Dearborn Heights, Bloomfield Hills, Detroit, Northville, Taylor, Southfield, and Oak Park. If your city is not listed, still inquire and we can discuss it.
Yes! Your best images will be edited to make you look as natural and true to yourself as possible.
You can expect to receive your gallery approximately two to three weeks after your session.
In order to reserve a date with LaToya Jyadon Photography, a 50% non-refundable retainer is due along with the signed contract in order to secure your date. The remaining 50% plus any relevant fees (if applicable) are due before your session date. All paperwork and payments can be done online for your convenience!
I'm here to guide you. I can promise you that everyone feels nervous at first, but they feel relaxed as the session progresses. My posing style is very natural, but I will guide you as you need it. Once clients feel comfortable, they usually take over the show!
