I’m going to be completely honest with you. I have never worked with a senior that was as excited as Marissa was about her session. From the time we connected up until we finally met in person, her energy was always high and contagious. When the client is super excited about capturing those precious memories of their last year in high school, it makes the session even more special and exciting. I take you on the journey of Marissa’s downtown Ann Arbor senior fall session.
When the Wait Was Finally Over
Marissa answered my model call post earlier this year, and regardless of the many setbacks we had, namely because of the weather and timing, when we finally met, it felt like I was meeting an old friend. We had been in contact pretty frequently up until the session date (picking outfits, talking about locations, things going on in life, etc) and the culmination of our meeting was absolutely EPIC! Marissa and her mother were so supportive and a joy to work with, I felt like I was a part of the family. There was never a dull moment and we shared tons of laughs and conversation.
Confidence Renewed
Throughout the entire time of our session, Marissa kept saying, with that huge beautiful smile, “I’m so happy.” Of course, we had a terrific time but the fact that she was happy every step of the way and loved her images made my heart overflow with joy. At the very end, she shared with me that I helped to build her confidence, which was one of our goals for the shoot when we met during the pre-consultation. This is why I do what I do. I want to help my clients see themselves and their beauty in ways that they might not have known were even possible. Building confidence, empowering, and looking amazing is my goal for you!
Marissa is not only beautiful on the outside, but her soul and spirit are as well. She is the sweetest person to be around and extremely funny. She said she prepped for hours for her session, and she showed up with confidence that just dominated. Working with clients like this makes my job fun to the point where it doesn’t even feel like I’m working. We’re just having good old-fashioned fun with a new family. Nothing made me feel better than to represent Pioneer High School for Marissa’s senior session!
