This photoshoot was very special to me because I was Rashida’s former high school English teacher over a decade ago. I was there when she graduated high school and now I was able to be a part of her college graduation. I am very proud because she continued to pursue her education, opened a successful business, is working full-time, juggling motherhood, and managing life itself. This is not an easy task, but she managed to do it and now she can add a college degree to her accomplishments. She is a living testimony that no matter what life throws at you, you can still come out on top!
Beauty and Brains at its Finest
Rashida attended Bryant & Stratton College based in Buffalo, New York. There she obtained an Associate degree in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education. To add swag to her cap & gown, she also received recognition with a cord and sash from the Alpha Beta Gama Honors Society.
She will continue her education by graduating with a Bachelors in Business. She hopes to transform Creative Kids Learning into a learning center that promotes learning development.
Business Owner & Entrepreneur
Rashida is the proprietor of Creative Kids Learning. She describes it as a fun form of public education that enhances learning development inside and outside of the classroom. Her most popular product is her study tables. Many parents, especially during the beginning of COVID, found these boards to be very beneficial for keeping their children educated, engaged in learning, and productive. Even with school back in full swing, these still remain the most popular.
